ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the offense of the football team Carolina Panthers. They like to run the ball with Stephen Davis and DeShaun Foster. When they throw it, Jake Delhomme typically takes a seven-step drop and waits for the downfield routes to develop. Delhomme is a perfect fit for the offense. Most people think of Carolina as a running team, but it really is a downfield passing team. The Panthers like to stretch defenses vertically, and Delhomme has the arm for it.
