This article presents information on the New England Paralyzed Veterans of America Bass Tournament, which took place at central New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee on September 16-17, 2005. All 42 anglers were paired with boat captains, or assigned to one of two pontoon boats if they registered for the Bank Division. Television celebrity Dan Kenney and his camera crew, of the Go Fish cable-network fishing series, filmed the tournament for an upcoming show. Thirty-four angling teams in the Boater Division departed the docks under an overcast sky in search of a five-bass team limit before the 2:00 p.m. weigh-in. Anglers concentrated on weed-lines for largemouths, while offshore humps and submerged tapering points produced Lake Winnie's bronze backs.
