ABSTRACT
The article reports that Pinsent Masons' private finance initiative (PFI) lawyers have obtained the law firm's first major deal for Kent County Council. The PFI project for Kent's schools will cost 100 million pounds sterling and requires a 28-year concession to build state-of-the-art facilities for six schools. Bilfinger Berger will head the construction consortium, with credit facilities provided by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and NIB Bank.
