Colgate Luminous Launch Highlights Slow Segment

This article presents information on a new product launched by Colgate-Palmolive as of October 2005. It was found that Colgate-Palmolive is banking on a new product attribute, strong, shiny enamel, for Luminous, its major toothpaste launch for 2005. Colgate declined comment on the Luminous launch, but has high hopes for the product. Banc of America Securities analyst April Scee, shared the optimism of Ian Cook, Colgate president/COO.
