ABSTRACT
This article deals with the organizational goals of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) according to its president Rebecca Reeves. As president of ADA since June 2005, with a term that runs through ay 2006, Reeves spent most of the summer on the road visiting the annual conferences of allied health and food service associations, listening and learning. Having experienced a declining membership over the past three years, ADA has focused on member value and on ways to structure its services so members perceive the value.
