ABSTRACT
This article reports on the decline in foodservice employee turnover at the Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Florida as of October 15, 2005. The company has decreased foodservice employee turnover by almost 10 percent and increased employee retention since implementing stricter employee performance standards and changing the way it interviews and screens new hires.
