ABSTRACT
This article offers information on several research in progress related to human resources in the U.S., as of October 1984. They include a study on the development of human resource management indicators is proceeding in a Cleveland health care organization, a study investigating the effects of technological change, industry trends and national policies on health care employment, a study on the forces underlying the restructuring of the health care system over the next decade, and a study on human resource strategy and planning.
