ABSTRACT
This article reports that Pfizer has decided to put its advertising account for Zyrtec anti-allergy drug into review in 1999. The company made a first cut of potential agencies according to executives close to the situation. A Pfizer document warned agencies not to speak publicly about the review. Consultancy Advice & Advisors is handling the review. In the request for proposals, the company bills itself as a non-bureaucratic entity seeking a partner for only creative on direct-to-consumer advertising.
