ABSTRACT
This article reports on the demand of U.S. First Lady Hillary Clinton for advertising agencies to mount a national campaign against youth violence as of May 1999. Officials of the Advertising Council plans to establish a public service campaign for the American Psychological Association and the National Association for the Education of Young Children to cover some of the issues raised by the school murders in Littleton, Colorado. In addition, the council will include a campaign with the U.S. Department of Justice and National Crime Prevention Council for safe gun storage.
