The article presents information related to grip-ring cover. The Awesome Grip removable/changeable wheelchair grip-ring cover is made from plush fabrics or leatherette. The device reportedly provides a softer, larger grip-ring surface area and enables users to increase their grip strength to provide more traction. The Awesome Grip is the result of four years of research, testing, interviewing, and product development by inventor Douglas Lowry. He invented the Awesome Grip to help chair users who have trouble negotiating carpets, inclines, rough terrain, and foul weather.
