This article announces that Unilever PLC has retained Interpublic's Universal McCann as its media-planning and buying agency in Australia following a lengthy pitch against WPP's MindShare. Universal McCann has handled Unilever's media in Australia for the past seven years. Unilever does frequent country-by-country media reviews, pitting MindShare against an Interpublic media agency, usually Initiative Media.
