ABSTRACT
The article discusses different feelings expressed by babies. Every time loving adults respond effectively to a baby's needs, the baby learns that feelings deserve respect. From birth on, the baby uses these senses to take in the mood and feelings of those who care for him, thus influencing his development. By 6 months, baby's feelings become more organized into the emotions of pleasure, fear and anger. After about 12 months of age, baby's emotional repertoire expands to include more complex feelings like pride and embarrassment.
