Reports on the use of the membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology to establish an efficient and effective water recycling program that will conserve potable water supplies in the city of Redlands, California. Comments of Douglas Headrick, chief of Water Resources for Redlands, on the amount of recycled wastewater produced by MBR; Upgrading of the conventional wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to meet total inorganic nitrogen (TIN) limits; Use of Zenon ZeeWeed reinforced hollow fiber membranes to provide ultrafiltration for the upgraded plant.
