ABSTRACT
The article focuses on recent developments related to the control on oil product export in China. The National Development and Reform Commission announced on August 25, 2005 to readjust the oil product policy and also issued a decree together with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the Customs General Administration and the General Tax Bureau to suspend rebating value added tax to gasoline and naphtha exportation. The new policy will be valid from September 1-December 31 this year.
