The article reports that Nabarro Nathanson is capitalizing on the booming online gaming sector after landing an instruction to advise Empire Online on a potential £800 million-plus takeover by Sportingbet PLC. Empire provides marketing for the online gamming industry. Sportingbet is an AIM-listed online betting and gaming group, which owns the ParadisePoker Web site. The high profile bid for Empire Online comes amid a surge of activity in the online gaming sector, following PartyGaming's £4.6 billion IPO on the London Stock Exchange.
