ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the forthcoming books related to war. The book "No Greater Sacrifice, No Greater Love: A Son's Journey to Normandy," by Walter Ford Carter and Terry Golway, is the story of one family's experiences during World War II. Presented through the lens of a son and a family who lost a father during the invasion of Normandy, the book captures the pain that every family experiences when a loved one is killed in battle. The book "Conduct Under Fire: Four American Doctors and Their Fight for Life As Prisoners of the Japanese, 1941-1945," by John A. Glusman, is a powerful reflection about four American doctors captured by the Japanese in the Philippines and their fight for life.
