The best reason to start anything is to make meaning, that is, to create something that makes the world a better place. One should forget mission statements; instead, should take one's meaning and make a mantra out of it. Also, start creating and delivering on the idea. No matter what endeavor one is starting, one must figure out a way to make it work. The greatest idea is short-lived without a sustainable model.
