ABSTRACT
This article highlights a national advertising campaign promoting the Disney Cruise Line in recognition of the fourth year of McDonald's Corp. marketing pact with Walt Disney Co. in 2000. Also slated are links to Disney's Dinosaur movie in May 2000 and the feature Kingdom of the Sun for the 2000 winter holidays, according to an internal memo outlining McDonald's media schedule. McDonald's first national new-product advertising since 1997 is slated for late April 2000 and is expected to tout the chain's Big Extra burger, according to company observers.
