ABSTRACT
Discusses the obsoleteness of the Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology, which has been in use commercially since 2002, with launches in the U.S. from both Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel. Technological innovations, which will likely take the CDMA into the same area being explored by Global System for Mobile communication carriers; Method employed in wireless fidelity to increase both bandwidth and capacity; Synergistic benefits between Evolution-Data Only and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, according to analyst Mike Thelander of Signals Research Group.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a powerful modulation choice for wideband wireless communication systems. However, its high peak-to-average power ratio greatly limits the high power amplifier (HPA) power efficiency. Here, we present the design of an adaptive predistorter to...

High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal is a critical problem in multicarrier modulation systems (MCM) such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), and Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC CDMA) systems, due to large number of subcarriers. High...
