ABSTRACT
This article reports that the aircraft F-117 Nighthawk is the first aircraft to fully employ stealth technology to diminish radar visibility. The fighter saw its first action during Operation Desert Storm in 1991, and launched the first air attack during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
