Fox: the fall season

Littleton, Cynthia
September 2005
Hollywood Reporter -- International Edition;2005-2006 Guide, Vol. 390 Issue 31, p16
The article states that whatever honeymoon Peter Liguori might have enjoyed during his first few months as Fox Broadcasting Co. entertainment president is sure to end August 29, 2005. That's the night Fox is slated to raise the curtain on the biggest gamble of its 2005-06 fall launch: a pre-Labor Day opening of the drama "Prison Break," well in advance of the network's annual October baseball break. Seven consecutive episodes of "Break" will air before the network's primetime schedule is bumped in favor of Major League Baseball's postseason. Behind the scenes, Liguori has done little to rock the boat among Fox's rank and file since coming to the network in March.
