Reports on the campaign launched by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) to mandate cable carriage of multicast broadcast systems by the U.S. Congress in 2005. Benefits of distributing multicast broadcast systems to consumers and local economies according to a study released by NAB; Remarks from David Gunzerath, vice president of research of NAB, on multicast systems; Percentage of television stations that are unlikely to multicast without assurances of cable carriage, according to a NAB survey in July 2005.
