This article features Jill Schroeder, a liaison officer between the North American offices of advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. Schroeder helps administer the workings of The Syndicate, the agency's network of affiliated boutique agencies. Schroeder is spearheading grassroots efforts to promote professional development, networking and support for New York agency creatives. As chairman of The Lodge, which she describes as a gathering place for young creative people, Schroeder has made the cultivation of New York's agency creative community her avocation.
