ABSTRACT
This article describes the advertisements of Pepsi-Cola Co. and Geek Squad in the U.S. In the spot created by BBDO Worldwide for Pepsi-Cola Co., the dolls indulge in annoying activities like talking on a cell phone and throwing popcorn, but get harsh lessons in cinema etiquette. Rent Sidon of A Band Apart Commercials directed the low-tech spot, which has the look of a home movie. On the other hand, Circusfreaks created the posted and print campaign for Geek Squad, giving ads the look of a crime comic book.
