ABSTRACT
The article reports on an advertising campaign created by agency DDB Worldwide for Unilever's Finesse shampoo. The aim is to push shampoo as a mind-control tool. It noted that men do everything but surrender the remote control for the touch of soft, shiny hair, including asking for directions and putting down the toilet seat. The tagline of the campaign is A girl could get used to this. Television spots can be seen starting September 27, 1999. Print and out-of-home breaks in October 1999.
