ABSTRACT
This article provides ideas on planning and managing the finances of couples. It is very useful to characterize the clients first before proceeding to the planning process. The personality of the clients will greatly affect how finances should be managed. One of the most crucial parts of the financial planning process is to establish clear goals and to define the reasons for each goal. It is important that each couple complete a goals statement. Based on the couples' stated goals, a financial planner can now analyze the possibility of achieving such goals. It is also beneficial to deal with the issue of gender, communication and interior skills in reference to money matters.
