ABSTRACT
This section presents statistical information about the financial sector in the U.S. as of September 2005. Robert Brody has managed the American Growth Fund for 47 years. The mutual fund posts 7.3 percent of annual return for the span of 47 years. Meanwhile, in 2004, 11 percent of the 1,000 largest companies offering traditional pensions terminated their plan or froze benefit accruals. In the same year, a 5 percent increase in charitable donations in inflation-adjusted dollars was recorded.
