ABSTRACT
The article focuses on children's experience in their first few weeks of pre-school. In the first week, children explore their kindergarten room. Kindergarten children react to their new environment in a wide variety of ways. A bigger school, longer day, and larger class size are some changes a kindergartner faces. Many children start kindergarten with this skill, but almost all develop it quickly through a good play-based program. Kindergarten is a whole new world compared to preschool, and every child copes in his own way.
