ABSTRACT
This article reports on Enea that has announced release 6.1 of its Polyhedra memory-resident relational database management system for Green Hills Software's Integrity real-time operating system (RTOS). Offering secure data storage and sharing among application processes, Polyhedra is initially available for the RTOS running on PowerPC processors, but will be made available for other platforms. Integrity is a scalable, ROMable, memory-protected, royalty-free realtime operating system that is used in defence, avionics, medical and automotive applications. Polyhedra is an active SQL RDBMS that provides a secure, fault-tolerant data repository for embedded systems applications that run on top of the embedded operating system. The Polyhedra server license allows any number of instances of the standard Polyhedra software to be used on the licensed processor.
