ABSTRACT
This article recalls the publication of an article on computers and financial planning software in the July 1990 issue of the "Journal of Financial Planning" by columnist Lynn Hopewell. Hopewell argued for the creation of own spreadsheets by financial planners instead of buying financial planning software.
