ABSTRACT
This article presents information on radiata and Douglas fir calculators. Calculator can tell you almost everything you want to know -- about growing radiata pine or Douglas fir. If you use the calculator, it does not matter where you live in New Zealand, you will be able to see when thinning is best or whether two, three or more pruning lifts are a good idea. More importantly, you can find out what work is unlikely to add value to your trees. The information used for the calculator is based on years of research and examples of radiata grown all over the country. The complex calculations that are made, using thousands of embedded macros, have been thoroughly checked by experts Leith Knowles and Piers MacLaren.
