ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the ruling made by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals involving the case of Mimics Inc. versus Village of Angel Fire. It is noted that a building inspector who entered private property without a warrant, seeking evidence of building code of violations, could not claim official immunity from a civil rights suit brought by the occupant of the premises.
