Media Edge adds research prowess of Evans, Schwartz

This article reports on the appointment of media and consumer purchasing gurus Cynthia Evans and Lyle Schwartz as senior vice presidents at Media Edge of Young & Rubicam (Y&R) in 1999. Evans will handle print and out-of-home media, as well as help develop a retail specialty. Schwartz will cover all broadcast research as well as handle several primary accounts including, Clorox Co., the U.S. Army and Mattel. Before joining A&E Television Network in 1997, Schwartz served as senior vice president-account planning and strategic media research at Y&R Media before the parent acquired Media Edge from N. W. Ayer & Partners.
