The article reports on the decision of Bertelsmann Music Group Inc. to acquire CDnow Inc. in an all cash deal valued at $117 million. Berterlsmann's new e-Commerce Group will oversee the operations of CDnow. CDnow will become Bertelsmann's music play online and will offer wireless and broadband platforms.
