ABSTRACT
This article deals with the second installment in Australia's controversial pro-euthanasia advertising campaign. Ammirati Puris Lintas executives are meeting with June Burns to discuss filming another commercial to follow the March 1999 commercial which featured Burns pleading with television viewers to help her die. Ammirati did not charge the Pro Euthanasia Society of New South Wales for creating the commercial which has aired only once. Burns, a mother of four tells viewers from her bed how she takes about 20 tablets a day, including three doses of morphine, and they do not always ease her pain from bladder cancer. The ad was accepted by the Nine Network for airing at 10 in the morning on March 3.
