ABSTRACT
Reports on the development of the acoustic device that produces images using sound rather than light could create far more detailed pictures that conventional ultrasound equipment. Applicability of the device in enhancing medical ultrasound and airport security scanning; Performance application of the device; Use of a method for collecting information on both the phase and the amplitude of the soundwaves picked up by the microphone array.
