ABSTRACT
The article presents information about the Center for Neuroscience and Regeneration Research in West Haven, Connecticut. The Center was co-established by Paralyzed Veterans of America in 1988, with the goal of finding cures for spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and other related forms of spinal cord dysfunction. It houses a multidisciplinary team of basic and clinical neuroscientists that includes physiologists, pharmacologists, pathologists, molecular biologists, and cell biologists who are committed to the study of dysfunction in the brain and spinal cord.
