ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the tenth anniversary of the publication of the journal "Interfaces." It takes operations research/management science into the relatively unfamiliar land of the courts in the U.S.; but from there, articles come from Australia, New Zealand, England, China, Japan, India and the Philippines. The vast majority of the articles have been submitted in this journal, unsolicited, by readers who compliment by choosing "Interfaces" as the outlet for their thoughts, positive or negative. One is pouring in good material at such a rate that, even with brutal editing to save space, the backlog of material will carry far into this volume. For future issues, articles are expected from Finland, Italy, Austria, Egypt, Thailand, East Germany, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands.
