This article deals with Ibn Rusd's employing of Religious Evidence in his work titled Tehafu't-Tehafut. For this, views of God and universe were taken as basis. In this context, the significance of the relation between religion and philosophy in the philosophic thought of Ibn Rusd was emphasized. It was found out that, for Ibn Rusd, the philosophic inquiry is not incompatible with Islam. In conclusion, it was shown that Ibn rusd attempted to provide solutions to philosophic issues with reference to Islam.
