In this article, as a rhetorical term, îjâz and its components will be examined. In the course of the article, examples from the Qur'anic verses, prophetic traditions and Arabic poetry will be presented and views of some of the well known scholars of the field on îjâz will be studied. Relevant examples from Turkish language will also be given.
