ABSTRACT
The article presents statistical information on industries in the sector of technology. More than 48% of online shoppers and 28% of those who bank online have cut back on several activities in the wake of all the headlines about online scams and stunning breaches in credit-card security in recent months, according to research firm Gartner. IGN Entertainment which operates Web sites targeting males and video games is up for sale according to press reports. Early speculation was that a sale would fetch upwards of 850 million dollars.
