ABSTRACT
The article reports that David Parkin, who last month started work as creative director at Deardorff Associates in Wilmington, Del. , took a substantial pay cut in his first job in advertising in 1984, a rarity for someone only three years out of college. Parkin most recently was consulting on brand strategy for clients including South Jersey Tourism and Saint Barnabas Health Care System in Toms River, N.J., and before that was COO and executive creative director at Winning Strategies Advertising in Princeton, N.J.
