The article profiles top graduates from five advertising schools in 2005. Menno Kluin, a Dutch has topped from the Miami Ad School's Hamburg, Germany branch. Kluin, the son of a Lamaze teacher and a railway employee, received a degree in marketing communications from Rotterdam University, having previously studied graphic design; but neither satisfied his urge to interact with consumers. So he decided to get into the creative side of things and applied to the school to train as an art director. Jason Campbell has come a long way from Jamaica, where he was born and lived until he was 17. The School of Visual Arts graduate, who finished the four-year program in May with a BFA in advertising, just signed on to an art director job at JWT in New York.
