This article focuses on fighting financial frauds. Throughout history, fraud has plagued individuals and organizations. Brilliant people have come up with innumerable ways to take advantage of others for nefarious financial gain. As these schemes have become more sophisticated, financial institutions have had to be more proactive in methods of detection and prevention. While detection and prevention will always be important, perhaps it is time one let go of the arrogance that leads to believe that one can create an inviolable fortress of security in the financial services industry.
