ABSTRACT
This article reports that financial firms are expressing more interest in technology upgrades, particularly in consulting and integration. When financial services firms open up the information technology spending spigot this year, the money for outsourcing is going to pour into application development and implementation. And it will rain down at a higher rate at banks than with insurance companies and other industry sectors that are hunting for IT help, according to a survey comparison put together by Forrester Research Inc.
