ABSTRACT
This article presents news banking technology. First Data Debit Services reports its survey on fraud found two million phishing victims in the past year. Close to five percent of phishing attempts are successful, despite significant efforts by the financial community to raise awareness and educate consumers about phishing, says Debra Janssen, president of First Data Debit Services. TowerGroup Inc. reports that publicly traded community banks are facing increasing difficulty in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
