The article reports on "Simple Pleasures," one of six color palettes and fabric directions featured by Cotton Inc. in its Home Fabrics Color and Trend Forecasting of the year 2007. In a preview last week, Dana Poor, trend forecaster, home, Cotton Inc. has described Simple Pleasures as a delicate balance of modernity and comfort. Archival prints and multi-cultural influences are key design inspirations for this traditional mood. Simplified damasks and tweeds are part of the elimination of excess in design.
