ABSTRACT
The article reports that Quality Bar, a supplier of cold-finished carbon and alloy bar, hopes to begin offering stainless steel products by the end of 2005. Quality Bar is a subsidiary of Casey Equipment Corp. which buys and rebuilds used mill equipment. The company's 14 employees operate two lines--one small diameter line cold finishing bar from 3/4-inch to 3 inches, and another larger diameter line handling 3-inch to 8-inch bar.
