ABSTRACT
This article focuses on various developments related to the construction industry in the U.S. Arc-Tech Associates Inc. was selected by Check-Out Corp. to provide architecture services for Beach One Condominium Hotel located in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Fortune International Realty Inc. is the developer of the new 420-unit condo-hotel which is estimated to cost $250 million. Conceptual design is under way by Perkins & Will Architects Inc. for St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta expansion project. The estimated $120-million project calls for building space for an additional 64 beds, expansion of emergency room, a new five-story building to house the heart and vascular center.
