The article reports that there is a useful resource on the Modernisation Agency Web site section that includes assessment tools and examples of competence development programmes. Further information about implementing Agenda for Change, the National Health Service of Great Britain (NHS) Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) and links to the Career Framework for the NHS and Skills for Health is also on this site. Assessing the competences required to fulfill a role, and matching these to the competences that an individual holds, supports new ways of working and encourages the development of rewarding careers.
